My client is advancing the energy transition with a global portfolio of green hydrogen and green fuels projects.


A driven, results-oriented professional is needed to join our US Business Development, executing our market strategy and securing new customers in mobility, efuels, and power generation.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and present potential customer opportunities to the Head of Business Development, leveraging deep understanding of the North American energy sector.
  • Participate in roundtable discussions, company interviews, and industry conferences to explore innovative market approaches.
  • Utilize existing network to facilitate introductions and opportunities for team members as required.
  • Develop and present compelling value propositions that differentiate us in the marketplace.
  • Recommend strategies to achieve sales goals and revenue targets, addressing challenges and improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align activities with customer needs.
  • Lead sales activities including developing commercial offerings, managing contracts, and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and execute proposal and RFP processes; advise on negotiations.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline, surpassing targets and deal metrics.
  • Manage accounts, maintaining customer satisfaction, resolving issues, and identifying new opportunities.


Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Over 10 years of successful experience closing energy off-take deals.
  • Established US sales network.
  • Extensive industry experience in hydrogen and industrial gas sales.
  • Expertise in power/utilities and transportation sectors.
  • Understanding of the hydrogen value chain.
  • Deep knowledge of US green energy markets, incentives, and policies.
  • Effective strategic and tactical leader, results-oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Creative and strategic thinker able to develop and implement short- and long-term goals.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to meet partners and clients.
