Who we need:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving our investor relations strategy, business development efforts, and capital raising initiatives. They will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential investors and identifying new growth and partnership opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing investors, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Communicate fund performance, investment strategies, and market insights effectively to investors.
  • Coordinate investor meetings, calls, and events, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.
  • Gather feedback from investors to inform fund strategies and improve investor relations processes.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations with other financial institutions, hedge funds, and industry stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and other relevant forums to enhance visibility and brand recognition
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials, presentations, and other collateral to support business development efforts.
  • Lead fundraising efforts by developing and executing comprehensive capital raising strategies.
  • Identify and target prospective investors, including institutional investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other qualified investors.
  • Prepare pitch decks, offering memorandums, and other materials to effectively communicate investment opportunities to potential investors.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes, investor meetings, and negotiations to facilitate successful capital raises.




Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in investor relations, business development, and capital raising within the financial services industry, preferably in hedge funds, private equity, or asset management.
  • Expertise in financial markets, investment strategies, and fund structures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving successful outcomes.

The estimated base salary for this role is $170,000 – $200,000 with additional incentives including bonus and equity.
