Testeract’s intelligent test and measurement software tools dramatically reduce the cost and time manufacturers of critical hardware components spend testing, evaluating, and verifying their products’ performance in a variety of required scenarios.


THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a director of accounting who can play an important role in overseeing the finances, identifying financial risks and opportunities to optimize financial outcomes, build financial models to attract funding, and helping guide the company through significant growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Reporting - prepare accurate, timely financial reports for stakeholders, showcasing the financial health and progress of the company
  • Financial Management - oversee financial operations and annual audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures and practices
  • Budgeting & Forecasts – drive the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and providing financial models to forecast growth
  • Actionable Insights – provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on financial analysis and shape financial strategies to support the company’s long-term goals
  • Payroll & Expense Reimbursement - review and process payroll and expense transactions in a timely manner, including creating and editing expense reports for senior leadership
  • Payment Processing - oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and collections
  • Operational Excellence - implement effective cash handling procedures, conduct reconciliations, maintain inventory, and set cost control measures
  • Leadership & Collaboration – participate in management discussions and build positive relationships with key stakeholders across the company


REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience with revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling responsibilities
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, with proven success in analyzing and transforming complex financial information into actionable insights
  • Detail oriented and adept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes
  • Grasp of federal and state tax laws
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, and manage workflow to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, with a concentration in Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing circumstances and demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Energized by a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Live the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior


PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Accounting experience with both professional services and licensed products
  • Insights around company valuation approaches and financial modeling
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and OneDrive


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Annual base salary, depending upon experience, $100,000 - $135,000
