Leadership and high-level oversight to the AP and AR departments, Ranches accounting team, and the Corporate accounting team. Facilitate the completion of selected internal and external reporting. Includes monthly review of divisional financial packages, Flash report, and the Gray Book. Annual review of the shareholder metrics report. Quarterly preparation of the Board metrics report. High level final review of bank compliance.
Assist in the successful completion of the fiscal year end financials and all reporting requirements for GAAP accounting. Includes participation in the review of the company yearend audit packages, meeting with outside auditors on status of the year end close, maintaining auditor request list, responding timely to outside auditor requests, review of annual report schedules and footnotes, updating internal control documents, and publication of the fiscal yearend green book.
Lead or participate in other key Corporate and Company wide efforts as assigned. Includes budgeting, planning, yearend forecasting, various analysis, and review of fringe benefit rates and internal borrowing rates.
Help develop and implement financial policies to ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulations, perform financial risk assessments and coordinate internal audit function.
Oversee benefit plan calculations, payments, and activity as well as help coordinate annual actuarial reports and associated journal entries.
Participate in software system implementations. Includes further implementation of Microsoft Dynamics and future identified software system changes. Support the CFO and Corporate Controller with other assigned project work.
