We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Director of Academics / Lead Teacher to spearhead our approach to learning and development. In this role, you will oversee the school's instructional and administrative aspects while carrying a part-time teaching assignment.

Administrative Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership aligned with the school's mission, vision, and values.
  • Facilitate faculty/staff meetings.
  • Supervise and support educators in delivering engaging instruction across online and in-person learning environments.
  • Collaborate with executive administrators to ensure effective program implementation within budget guidelines.
  • Foster professional growth among staff through mentorship and ongoing professional development.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.


Academic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive blended learning curriculum tailored to student needs.
  • Support teacher development and success through consultation and evaluation.
  • Familiarize with learning management and student testing software to enhance instructional delivery.
  • Utilize data to assess student progress and implement interventions to support success.
  • Design systems that support individualized learning and student development.


Cultural Leadership:

  • Uphold high behavioral expectations for students while providing high support.
  • Implement a discipline program emphasizing responsibility, respect, and restoration.
  • Promote school-wide communication and professionalism.
  • Model servant leadership and care for students, staff, and parents.
  • Instill leadership and identity development through programs and activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create a positive and inclusive school culture.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with expertise in blended learning.
  • Previous leadership experience in an educational setting.


Required Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of educational software and cutting-edge pedagogy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and delegate effectively.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and coaching educators.
  • Experience with accommodations and learning interventions.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and standards compliance.
