Position Summary:  

We are looking for a talented and experienced Director of Marketing Automation with a specialization in automation and other transactional marketing strategies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging automation tools and strategies to manage large lead volumes effectively. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing efforts to drive, reach and convert leads at scale.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work across marketing, sales and tech teams to implement an optimized customer journey flow from conversion to onboarding to retention.
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing campaigns utilizing first party data to generate and nurture leads at scale, utilizing automation tools and technologies.
  • Utilize existing, advanced lead scoring and nurturing processes to prioritize and engage with leads effectively throughout the sales funnel.
  • Lead the marketing automation team to optimize workflows, segmentation, and targeting to maximize campaign performance.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve automation strategies, driving higher conversion rates and ROI.
  • Collaborate with web development, SEO and paid media teams to optimize pathways and improve conversion rates
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business objectives.
  • Lead the creation of targeted and personalized marketing content, leveraging automation capabilities to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, while continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and optimize.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation marketing, with a focus on automation and lead generation for large lead volumes.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing marketing automation strategies and driving measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals is a plus.
