About the Position:

The Director of Marketing and E-Commerce is a pivotal role that will support shaping our branding and driving online presence in the Land Vehicles Americas segment. This includes all sales channels; RVO and SAM, CPV, MPS, and Outdoor. The role includes planning, overseeing and executing projects related to these sales channel. In addition, this position will lead a talented team to develop and execute strategies to increase consumer engagement across multiple platforms’, both online and offline, resulting in increased online sales and enhanced brand visibility. The role reports to the President, Land Vehicles Americas and is located in either Elkhart, IN; Rosemont, IL or Troy, MI.


General responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the comprehensive marketing plan across all sales channels, including product launch campaigns, retail messaging and visual trade show booth execution. Develop insights for growing mobile living market to create informed knowledge on the customer/market. Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • E-Commerce Strategy: Help to develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to maximize online revenues and profitability, including channel expansion, pricing optimization and conversion rate optimization in line with group goals.
  • Channel Management: Lead strategy for Dometic.com, business to consumer (B2C), marketplaces, and business to business (B2B) platforms.
  • Branding and Identity: Maintain and enhance the organizations brand ensuring all communications are consistent with our stated brand image.
  • Brand Development: Lead development and execution of local brand strategy in line with the global brand strategy inclusive of content development, new product launch support and communication, external communication strategy, brand building and marketing partner oversite.
  • Marketing Campaigns and Events: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and events, both online and offline to promote company’s products.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of marketing and e-commerce professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets effectively to achieve the company’s marketing and e-commerce goals within the broader business objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including product development, sales, and customer service, to align e-commerce and marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuously optimize the e-commerce and marketing strategies.


Requirements and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing and promotion, with previous management/team leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices. B2B & B2C marketing experience preferred.
  • Experienced in online content marketing, along with classic marketing strategies.
