Position Summary:

As the Director, Managed Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization’s sales strategies. Operating at the intersection of leadership and hands-on sales expertise, you will construct the overall strategy for success and work closely with Account Executives in driving strategic sales growth and delivering exceptional results for our National & Regional chain customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Lead major client negotiations and ensure sustainable profitability and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Utilize data analytics to assess sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies for improvement
  • Develop and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics
  • Work closely with marketing, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall company objectives
  • Collaborate with sales operations and finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Understanding of sales metrics and data-informed decision making
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
  • Organizational and time-management skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' of sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years' of experience in sales
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Seniority level
