Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Global People Operations Director to lead our People & Places department across our globally distributed workforce. We currently have 150+ employees distributed across 5 entities (US, UK, Singapore, India and China), plus remote workers in 7 additional countries.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing people strategies that align with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and cultivating a positive and engaging company culture. They will play a pivotal role in strengthening our organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in Go-To-Market initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement people and workplaces strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Oversee global people operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, workplaces and HR compliance
Serve as an HRBP and strategic talent advisor to the Senior Leadership Team
Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HR laws and regulations
Constantly iterate on people programs identifying areas where we can build and deliver new company-wide programs, and lead program design
Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development
Manage global People Operations budgets and resources effectively
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a global people operations in a startup
Excellent communication, cross-cultural and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Strong understanding of global HR practices, laws, and regulations
Previous experience partnering with revenue/sales leaders who have led globally distributed teams; driving 50M+ in ARR.
An entrepreneurial drive, ability to create order from chaos, and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies to support business goals
Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams across multiple locations; proven experience with remote collaboration across global time zones.
Highly productive and influential in fast-paced environments
Effective coaching and facilitation skills, adept at influencing colleagues across all organizational levels.
Ability to travel to Santa Clara, CA and/or China at least quarterly.
US Salary Details
Estimated base salary range for this role is 250K - 275K OTE.
Salary may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role is eligible for RSU program. We also have a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
