Duties & Responsibilities
Manage communications with suppliers and internal staff for ordering, receiving, and issuing of equipment and clothing
Maintains safety protocols and manages equipment so that safety limitations are adhered to mitigate injuries
Manage quality control and review of apparel, shoe, and equipment inventories
Maintain certifications to fulfill job requirements
Continually working with apparel, shoe, and equipment companies, preview new products and serve as the point-of-contact on quality of new products
Manage employee and student-athlete issues with apparel, shoes, and equipment. Responsible for ordering of all supplies and providing solutions to apparel or products not performing to standards
Coordinate equipment operations staff and student employees
Manage day-to-day operations, including assisting at various team practices
Coordinate laundry of game and practice uniforms and clothing
Maintain the issuance and return of all equipment
Maintain inventory control on all equipment and clothing
Direct the organization and upkeep of equipment and locker rooms
Coordinate packing and travel arrangements during road trips
Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge of NCAA, Pac-12, and University of Arizona rules and compliance

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Three years of experience
AEMA Certifiable
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be willing to travel when needed
Preferred Qualifications
Five years of experience working in an athletic equipment room at the NFL or NCAA FBS level
Experience with particular specialized equipment plus experience in student manager supervision
Experience with inventory systems and ability to maintain inventory records for athletic teams in real time using digital data base
Experience with AEMA best practices and methodologies and AEMA certification
Experience with Nike ordering systems and products (or that of similar competitor)
Experience with Headsets and Player to Coach communication
Experience with Sewing
