Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

Tuesday Health is looking for a Director, Financial Planning and Analysis who will be responsible for the forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis processes, variane reporting, and other finance needs, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, experience in value based care, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Partner with the accounting team and communicate heavily across internal and external teams. Heavily interface with senior executives and leadership.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA, Actuarial Certification, or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Working within a healthcare organization required. Start-up experience a plus
  • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Value Based Care
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in programming, such as SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
