Job Responsibilities

The Director, Finance will lead and contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks to support the US operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, management, and corporate financial planning.
  • Coordinate, analyse, and report financial performance to Management and finance team in HQ in Singapore (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
  • Prepare all supporting information for annual audit and liaise with the finance team in HQ Singapore and external auditors as necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, and other corporate finance policies.
  • Acts as a business partner to management, business units and other departments with a keen focus on supporting while being custodian to the profitability of the sales including gross profits, OPEX, and P&L.
  • Provides business financial insights into the US operations through the business reporting and management reporting including Total Channel Cost, OPEX Budget Control, Sales rebate/discount budget control, Channel health trends (growth of sales vs. AR, channel months of supply, etc.), Sales rebate/discount budget control.
  • Enforces the credit policy that has been set and monitor credit profile of customers, including KYC work on the customer such as annual credit review of customers and screening of customers, where practicable, for any related trade sanctions.
  • Manages and monitors regional sales and marketing process related approvals e.g. rebate and discount programs, contractual allowances, and MDF programs with major retail channels
  • Partners/Assists the sales and marketing budget DRI’s as the go-to person, and also assists any other functional budget DRIs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or finance experience is required.
  • SOX compliance experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
  • Experience in SAP is a plus.


Salary Ranges (per Annum)

$127,837.00 - $213,062.00
