The CLIENT team is looking for a driven and detail-oriented content and marketing professional who has experience working with major brands.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Manage relationships with CLIENT Studios authors, managers, and agents to support marketing campaigns on both CLIENT and author platforms (e.g., social media, podcasts)
- Establish strong working partnerships with the Big Five and other large publishers on day-to-day US & CA merchandising activity and innovative marketing initiatives (includes securing all assets and needed approvals, as well as negotiating for reduced costs)
- Advocate on behalf of authors and publishers, and facilitate publisher presentations to internal marketing and PR teams
- Develop and pitch CLIENT Studios marketing packages as part of the content acquisition process
- Collaborate closely with dealmakers, partnership managers, content operations, marketing and merchandising, talent relations, business development and PR to drive cross-functional activity
- Project manage title releases from CLIENT Studios authors/agents (pre-order and release strategies, cover art creation, promo needs, etc.)
- Manage CLIENT's Author Care Team and one additional direct report
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in online marketing/partnership development
- Strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge MS Office
- Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and quick learner
- [Preferred] Passion for books and audiobooks
- [Preferred] Some publishing industry experience/awareness
