Direct the review and assessment of state and federal regulatory requirements, analyzing business impacts and recommending compliance actions.
Proactively identify strategic and tactical regulatory solutions, offering compliance expertise for project/process/product initiatives.
Monitor and manage regulatory requirements and reporting.
Build and lead a team within your assigned functional area, focusing on recruitment, development, retention, coaching, performance management, and managerial activities.
What You Have
Bachelor's degree; OR equivalent experience (4+ years in addition to minimum requirement).
8 or more years of experience in risk, compliance, or audit roles.
3 years of direct team leadership or management experience.
Demonstrated expertise in highly regulated environments.
Advanced knowledge of industry regulations and regulatory compliance within a specific domain.
Previous experience developing executive briefs and presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication skills across all management levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with federal laws and regulations including CRA, ECOA, FCRA, MLA, SCRA, Regulation DD, Regulation E, Regulation Z, and UDAP/UDAAP.
Understanding of federal supervisory guidance from the Federal Reserve, OCC, and CFPB.
