Your Role

As a Director of Client Service, you will have a unique opportunity to oversee, manage, and develop a set of core accounts within leading global pharma and biotech companies. You will partner with life sciences leaders and their teams to realize critical strategic priorities and support them in mobilizing and transforming their organizations. You will play a key role in client and business development, bring our innovative offerings to market, and deliver outstanding projects. You will work closely with senior leaders of client-facing teams and other functions, and experience the collaborative leadership style of Genioo.

You will be confident in leading core accounts, and will bring diverse consulting experience within the life sciences industry, (such as Commercial, TechOps, Supply Chain, R&D, and Digital). You are able to develop functional areas effectively at your core clients, as well as act as a subject matter expert to other Genioo Client Service peers leading other accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Take responsibility for developing a book of business of roughly $4-5 M.
  • Manage and grow core accounts while building and strengthening relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Actively support the development and execution of account plans.
  • Manage client service and project delivery for leading global and US life sciences clients.
  • Lead both large-scale and smaller project teams that include independent consultants and client team members with involvement across all phases of the transformation effort.
  • Step in as a problem solver to help develop recommendations, effectively resolve issues and keep projects running on time and on budget.
  • Provide comprehensive solutions and develop compelling proposals for business challenges for our clients, with particular emphasis on bringing cross-functional alignment across client teams.
  • Manage the client projects fully to ensure the optimization of project extensions where needed.
  • Contribute to the development of a fast-growing organization and scaling of internal functions.


Who You Are

  • You have 10-15 years of experience and focus on project execution, client success and use a hands-on approach.
  • You’ve been consulting with life sciences clients for at least 8 years and have worked for a leading Management Consulting company (such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture), required.
  • You have a track-record of client development, and managing a book of business.
  • You have optimally also spent time in a corporate role, and understand how large life sciences clients operate, make decisions, and build their businesses.
  • You are an experienced project manager with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • You have a talent for synthesizing complex topics and explaining them in easily understood terms to a variety of stakeholders.
  • You are eager to join a small company and have the entrepreneurial enthusiasm to build a cutting-edge business and change the way companies do project work.
  • You have a contagious passion combined with demonstrated leadership in motivating people.
