Position Summary

What you will be doing:
Managing the overall functions/processes of the audio/visual office in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Applying hands-on audio/visual/technical and leadership experience to ensure the maximum in client service, operational efficiency, employee development, and profitability levels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Effectively oversee day to day operating procedures in accordance with company policy
- Effectively manage the sub-rental of equipment to ensure client needs and office profitability is met
- Manage on-site inventory according to company standards, including utilization, maintenance and repair
- Continually capture hotel business
- Maximize revenue potential utilizing company sales strategies
- Actively maintain and cultivate positive public relations with Hotel account
- Maintain positive employee relations
- Continually develop employees assigned to office
- Maintain adequate staffing levels
- Conduct timely team member reviews
- Address employee concerns or questions
- Effectively utilize the company’s business software
- Ensure client and hotel account billing is completed accurately and on-time
- Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self, as well as subordinates
- Other related duties as required or assigned
- Minimum of 3 years' HANDS-ON experience in the audiovisual industry
- Audio - microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, etc.
- Video - LCD, LED, projectors, screens, monitors, etc.
- Lighting - GOBO, gels, uplighting, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.
- Computers - Advanced knowledge on PC and Mac software
- Advanced knowledge and experience with audio/visual setups/strikes, certification in audiovisual technology or related courses (preferred)
- Demonstrates leadership ability - able to achieve desired results through others
- Planning Skills – able to effectively plan ahead
- Organization Skills – ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Problem Analysis – Ability to breakdown problems and find solutions
- Strong team-player orientation
- Exceptional customer service or hospitality experience required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required to operate company vehicle
- This job requires the candidate undergo and pass a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations
