Director, Application Integration

This Director level role will lead our Digital Transformation initiative, focusing on migrating from a customer software environment to an off the shelf software environment for our ecommerce and other business applications. We seek a visionary technology leader who will drive our build our Application Integration team, architect a migration from a complex custom architecture to a easy to maintain architecture with off the shelf solutions, streamline processes, source new applications, manage development of new systems either through 3rd party integrators, drive enhancements to current systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Architectural Oversight: Design and oversee the architecture and integration of business applications, ensuring interoperability and data flow.
• Technical Leadership: Lead the rework and stabilization of the current Magento implementation, manage the migration of custom ecommerce shopping carts to Magento, and develop best practices for application maintenance.
• Hands-On Development: Engage directly in technical tasks, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.
• Project Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors for major projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
• Team Management: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  
  

Qualifications Required For Position

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience which includes the below:
• Minimum of 3 years managing a team of developers and integrators, including conducting performance reviews and fostering professional development
• At least 5 years of experience in architecting comprehensive solutions across multiple applications and systems
• At least 3 years of experience working with Magento, including customization, integration, and performance optimization
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience managing and integrating CRM systems like Campaign Monitor
• Proficiency in integration technologies and middleware
• Strong understanding of CRM, email marketing platforms(e.g., Campaign Monitor) and ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica)
• Proven experience with integration technologies and middleware solutions. Understanding of Azure Cloud, Integration Platforms (iPaaS), eCommerce, CRM, and ERP Architectures (SaaS, PaaS), and APIs.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with business and technical stakeholders to influence technical needs.
• Demonstrated skill in designing enterprise software solutions using standard architectural principles and practices.
  
  

Qualifications Desired For Position

• At least 5 years of experience working with Magento, including customization, integration, and performance optimization
• Experience with AI technologies, including utilizing AI for performing job functions, and integrating AI into applications
• Experience with Acumatica ERP, including implementation, customization, and integration. Previous experience in the cosmetics or direct-selling industry is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience with ZenDesk or similar help desk software
• Familiarity with CVent or similar event management platforms
• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
  
  

Physical Demands

Physical requirements include arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity enough to use a keyboard, ten-key, and telephone; frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds; may be subject to walking, standing, sitting, reaching, balancing, bending, crawling, handling, feeling, kneeling, climbing, twisting; and vision, speech, and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks.

Working Conditions

Working environment is primarily indoors in an office setting and occasionally outdoors for special events; requires some evening and possible weekend hours and requires use of telephone and other office equipment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The expected salary range for California applicants is $185,000 to $205,000. Applicants in other states will be paid commensurate with market data.
