Job Summary

Reporting into the Executive Director, Culture, Communications and Change Management, this role will be a critical partner to key stakeholders within the region and be responsible for designing, developing and implementing a broad and comprehensive communications strategy in alignment with regional business priorities and the company’s values, goals and culture.

Key Deliverables Within This Role Include

  • Serving as the primary communications advisor to the Americas President – supporting executive visibility opportunities, engagements and communications with the Americas region.
  • Developing and implementing a broad and comprehensive communications strategy in alignment with key business priorities to effectively communicate the vision, mission and key messages.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure communications strategy and channels are effective in reaching our internal audience across all sites/location in the region.
  • Monitoring communications metrics and sharing key insights that help continuously improve the effectiveness of the communication strategy, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Aligning communication strategy to SEE’s communication guidelines and industry trends/best practices.
  • Providing guidance and key messaging/communications pertinent to:
    • Sealed Air’s global brand and reputation strategy
    • New product development and innovation
    • Internal talent spotlights and stories
    • M&A activities
    • Crises and/or critical and/or business challenges/conditions - as applicable.
What are we looking for?

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or a closely related field of study is required; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience with direct responsibility for leading communications, stakeholder relations, and/or public/corporate affairs for a global brand or company.
  • Prior experience designing, developing and leading the implementation and management of a communications strategy tailored to an organization, business unit or function.
  • Prior experience working with executive level leadership, providing strategic counsel and guidance to develop a communications strategy aligned to business needs.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and insights to a variety of audiences.

  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
