Who you are:

As a Director of Account Management, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding relationships with our most valued and complex customers to understand, plan, deploy and optimize the Balance product within their infrastructure. You will lead the AM team, driving strategic initiatives to ensure Balance’s largest B2B customers satisfaction and revenue growth. This role requires a blend of leadership, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the fintech industry.

Base Salary Range: 150,000- 190,000

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales & product teams to ensure alignment in client strategy and execution.
  • Analyze client performance metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the escalation point for client issues and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and a positive client experience.
  • Actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and business reviews.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 6 years of experience scaling and managing a client-facing sales or B2B account management team in a fast-paced environment, preferred similar roles within the fintech industry.
  • 3+ years Demonstrated experience as a manager, leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Skilled at managing customer relationships across functions and seniority, from executives to ICs
  • Experienced as a leader of of an AM function, reporting to VP/C-level executive
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with enterprise-level clients.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate client needs into actionable plans.
