The digital video content producer will be responsible for producing, capturing, editing, and delivering multiple formats of compelling digital video and photos for a variety of audiences and platforms.
Education/Certification
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, videography, communications, or related field preferred
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience creating engaging video content for multiple platforms
Proficiency in video and photography concepts and practices including studio and field production, lighting, motion graphics, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and audio gathering
Mastery of video editing programs and software applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to interact with staff, students, and community members
A self-starter who equally thrives in collaborative and independent projects
Ability to work irregular hours to meet deadlines which may include some evenings and weekends
Experience
Successful practical demonstration of the above, either through previous employment or college training
Experience creating daily video content for social platforms, as well as creative strategizing in fast-paced environments
Major Responsibilities And Duties
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and create compelling digital content, with an emphasis on short-form vertical video content and photography.
Develop long-form video productions from concept to completion, including all necessary scripting, interviews, filming, content, and overall creative design.
Quickly and effectively identify moments worth creating and capturing to produce impactful social media content daily.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in video production and photography to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the content produced.
Create motion design and animation templates.
Manage digital photo and video library and archives.
Support the communications department with daily tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
