Digital Print Production Manager

Our main office is located in Houston, Texas though our market includes Texas and various states nationwide. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Print Production Manager. 

*** DIGITAL PRINT/PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE Is Required. If you do not have digital print experience, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator please do not apply ***

Job Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain large wide format and vinyl printing equipment

· Set up, edit, and prepare shop drawings, custom files, and print-ready files for production

· Work closely with PM’s on production lead times and material availability

· Monitor and adjust print parameters for optimal results

· Perform quality control checks to ensure printed materials meet specifications

· Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials

· Collaborate with the project management team to meet project deadlines

· Assist in packaging and shipping finished products as needed

· Deliver materials and/or pickup materials (as needed)

· Work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion.

· Familiarity with vector based software - Illustrator (.AI, .EPS, and/or .PDF files) – and Adobe Photoshop.

· Understanding of industry pricing/quoting is a plus.

· Excellent organizational & communication skills (written & verbal)

· General shop cleaning

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Prior experience working in a print production environment, specifically with wide format and vinyl printing

· Proficient in operating and maintaining printing equipment

· Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks

· Familiarity with graphic design software and file preparation for print (good to know but not required)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Skills:

· Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

· Strong understanding of layout design principles and typography

· Ability to create engaging visual content for both digital and print mediums

· Experience in using digital commercial printers

· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
