DIGITAL NEWS PRODUCER INTERN

Fort Myers Broadcasting, a growing family-owned and operated business and CBS affiliate (WINK) in Southwest Florida, has an immediate opening for a Digital News Producer Intern. The person in this position will learn and be involved in the day-to-day production of news for digital platforms, including winknews.com, the WINK News app, and our social media platforms.

You will work closely with the Digital Director, Digital Executive Producer, Digital Content Producers, and Reporters on daily content and breaking news stories.

We're a fast-paced newsroom with news always happening. If you want to enhance writing skills, solid news judgment, this job is for you.

Skills you will learn:

• Demonstrated ability to create written news content with accuracy.
• Write and produce compelling digital news in multi-formats
• Enhance time management in order to put together exciting and informative content
• Gain experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Gain strong leadership skills
• Enhance excellent communication skills
