To further the Gospel of Christ to students through photo and video storytelling, graphic design, live productions, and social media content creation at Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC).
Responsibilities
Responsible for all photo, video, and graphics content for students
Train and equip students in photo, video, and graphics production to serve on the Students Creative Lead Team
Bring creative ideas to life through video and stage presentation
Train staff and volunteers in scripting, directing, cinematography, lighting and sound techniques
Collaborate with staff to promote the ministry and events in digital form, including social media content (photo posts, reels, hype videos, etc.)
Stay knowledgeable in script writing, directing, editing, cinematography, lighting, and sound techniques
Cast vision and provide creative direction for content creation (teaching series packages, event branding content, etc.)
Develop and maintain positive relationships other PBC departments and ministry partners
Maintain photo/video equipment and supplies
Maintain an accessible archive of all photo, video, and graphics content
Attend and coordinate content needs for student events, including Beach Camp, Freedom Weekend, Guys and Girls Events, mission trips, etc.
Ensure Volunteer Screening processes are followed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBC
Prior professional/business experience in content creation
Strong production and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-starter who can take direction, but also think outside the box
Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects and Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve
Passion for Junior High and High School students, families, and leaders
Ability to identify and develop the leadership skills of others
Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs and be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 pounds without assistance
