Position Summary

The Digital Media Producer is responsible for creating compelling content that highlights the Stratton brand to be used for the Stratton website, social media channels, and external advertising purposes. Responsibilities include creating original photography and video assets while maintaining a strict brand aesthetic, creative concepting, event and activities photography. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager. This position is a benefit eligible, year-round role. The wage range for this role is $23 - $27/hr, based on experience.

Essential Duties

• Storyboard, schedule, and arrange all details for photography and video shoots
• Collaborate with fellow marketing team members to determine content needs
• Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure completion of evolving daily deliverables
• Share creative vision, technical skills, and operational support with entire team to accomplish assignments
• Support social media channels by providing visual content and creating posts when assigned
• Explore trends and evolve photo ideation
• Create contacts on mountain to use as models for photography and videography shoots.
• Support website manager with digital content
• Assist with social media development
• Manage Digital Asset Management System
  
  

Education

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required
• Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
• Current FAA Drone Pilots License preferred, or ability to obtain license
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience in digital marketing and video production strongly preferred
  
  

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill And Ability Requirements

• Intermediate to expert level skiing or riding skills are required
• Expert level photographer and proficient videographer
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite for video and photo editing purposes
• Previous resort employment is a plus
• Self-motivated and work effectively under deadline pressure while coordinating multiple tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
• Experience working in a team-oriented and project-based environment
• Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be creative, well organized, and able to work in an evolving environment
  
  

PROVIDED EQUIPMENT & SUBSCRIPTIONS

• Digital Media Producer is equipped with a Nikon Z8 Camera and additional lenses for daily content photo needs
• Digital Media Producer is equipped with DJI Mavik 3 drone for video & photo needs
• Other equipment available with this position includes but is not limited to, DJI Ronan RS3 Pro gimble, GoPro HERO12, RODE audio equipment, tripod and more
• All access Adobe Creative Cloud subscription
  
  

Travel Requirements

• Minimal - photo/video shoots on and off resort
• Occasional travel as needed for business purposes
  
  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position will be required to be working on-site during inclement weather.
