Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for increasing brand awareness and sales by assisting in the development, implementation, tracking, and optimization of the company’s online marketing efforts.

Essential Functions:

• Organize and share content across social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
• Create high-value, relevant, authoritative written and visual content across social media platforms.
• Capture assets for future use across social media platforms.
• Increase sales through successful implementation and administration of online marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate with the creative team to ensure timely release of assets.
• Assist in planning digital marketing campaigns to build community online (across all social media platforms.)
• Identify, track, and engage with influencers to create content and relationship-building opportunities.
• Analyze digital marketing trends, presenting opportunities to capitalize on as they arise.
• Analyze performance data such as social media following and engagement.
• Use digital tools to generate reports and monitor website traffic.
• Research and recommend ways to reach new audiences across social media platforms.
• Assist the digital marketing team with ad hoc tasks as they develop.

Qualifications:

• College degree in marketing, communications, or other relevant disciplines.
• 2-4 years of social media experience with a brand or at an agency.
• Proficiency with all social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and X.
• Active and engaged participant in social media with a pulse on culture and fashion.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Graphic design and video editing experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and CapCut.
• Familiarity with LAGOS’ content, tone, and voice.
• Experience with web and social media analytic tools (Emplifi, Facebook Insights, X Analytics, etc.)
• Planning and organization skills.
• Creativity and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive and collaborative approach.
