Are you ready to join the PROS? The Detroit Pistons Rotational Opportunity is a nine-month graduate rotational program focused on developing well rounded talent through an immersive learning experience!

As the Digital Marketing Graduate Associate, you will learn the core proficiencies of social media marketing and marketing operations throughout our Graduate Associate rotational program! Associates will spend 4 -5 months in two different departments throughout their vertical focus. We are seeking a team member with a positive, upbeat outlook that can lead and connect with a diverse population!

What You’ll Be Doing

Social Media

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across various social media platforms using social media management tools to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly to engage with our audience.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics and performance data to help evaluate the success of campaigns and suggest improvements.
  • Stay informed about current social media trends, popular hashtags, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for content and engagement.

Marketing Operations

  • Support the Marketing Operations team with projects that include e-marketing, campaign management, reporting, and web/app needs.
  • Support additional Pistons initiatives including Motor City Rivals platform, Motor City Cruise, Pistons Academy, and Pistons "GT".
  • Work with creative services team to develop digital assets for web, print, out of home, in-arena.
  • Additional responsibilities will include assisting with traditional and digital media planning for the Detroit Pistons 2024-2025 season along with onsite/offsite event activation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required from a college or university in related field (preferred)
  • Relevant work experience related to the Digital Marketing departments
  • Ability to be onsite M-F, holidays, weekends, and nights as needed
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and LinkedIn).
  • Basic knowledge of social media management tools and familiarity with graphic design platforms like Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to specific audiences.
  • HTML or other web language knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and be solutions oriented
  • Proficient in grammar and writing short form copy
