From UX/UI design, digital advertising, customer retention strategies, social media management, and collaboration on innovative advertising & marketing campaigns, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in the digital space.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following services, which are subject to change at the discretion of the Company:


Digital Design

  • Creating visual assets, graphics, and multimedia content for web pages, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Managing and updating website content, imagery, and multimedia elements using content management systems (CMS) or web publishing platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and development, to translate business objectives into effective design solutions.
  • Ensuring consistency in branding across all digital channels.
  • Incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine designs.
  • Ensure that work is produced to a high quality, with a consistent clear design, adhering to the brand aesthetic.
  • Present creative work through the lens of creative strategy to partners and leadership team.


UX/UI Design

  • Creating engaging user experiences (UX) and intuitive interfaces (UI) for websites, web applications, and digital platforms.
  • Developing and maintaining design systems, style guides, and UI kits to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints.
  • Conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
  • Designing and optimizing responsive web layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Staying updated on emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and user experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with web accessibility standards and best practices to enhance inclusivity and accessibility for all users.
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure the implementation of design solutions aligns with technical requirements and standards.


CRM Design

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and loyalty channels.
  • Designing captivating assets for email, SMS, and loyalty programs to enhance customer retention.
  • Designing visually appealing and effective email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and transactional emails.
  • Creating responsive email templates optimized for various email clients and devices to ensure consistent rendering and usability.
  • Designing loyalty program assets, including member communications, rewards catalogs, and program collateral.


Paid Media Design

  • Collaborating with the marketing & advertising teams to conceptualize and execute paid media campaigns that brings the brand to life and exceeds sales goals


Managing Organic Meta

  • Developing and executing social media content strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand identity.
  • Creating visually compelling graphics, images, videos, and other multimedia content for social media platforms.
  • Designing and curating engaging social media posts, stories, and ads to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Crafting compelling copy and captions that resonate with target audiences and encourage interaction and sharing.
  • Managing social media content calendars, scheduling posts, and monitoring content performance metrics.
  • Engaging with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, and fostering community interaction and conversations.
  • Staying updated on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices to inform content strategy and execution.
  • Measuring and analyzing social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversions, and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital design.
  • High proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere or other video editing software and Figma.
  • Experience working in a project management platform (Monday, Asana, JIRA, etc).
  • Proven depth of experience creating designs across D2C and marketing channels.
  • Ability to take complicated inputs and translate them into simple customer experiences.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, detail and quality-oriented, and able to handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to effectively assess priorities and work well under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, deadline-driven.
  • A strong team player, capable of working with others to get the job done and willing to step outside the core role to help the broader team.
  • Passion for water sports, outdoor activities, or the paddle boarding industry is preferred.
