Digital Designer

Our global beauty client is looking for a FREELANCE Digital Designer to start in July, 40 hours weekly, for 18 months.

This HYBRID role requires onsite work in Addison 4 days per week with remote on Friday.

As part of the client's huge digital media / tool focus, the Digital Designer will produce web and UI design assets, such as design system components, web banners, web pages, standalone graphics and illustrations, wireframes, presentations and more.

• 4+ years' web-based graphic design experience, especially ecommerce and interactive retail tools
• Portfolio of mainly web-based and other digital designs
• Advanced Figma and Adobe Creative Suite experience

• Experience collaborating with UX designers & developers
• Experience with Salesforce platforms
• Experience establishing and expanding design systems using Salesforce Lightening and Google Material 3
• Familiarity w/ WCAG/Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
  
  

Digital Designer Responsibilities

• Collaborate with strategy, UX, content, IT/developer teams to create conceptual designs for new and existing digital platforms and tools
• Primarily develop designs in digital media, iconography, and presentation (PPT) formats
• Create designs that align to and meet expected minimum accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Partner with copywriters, UX designers and IT to produce final designs/products
• Conduct visual and competitive research
• Create mood boards/design concept options, design presentation documents, web layouts
• Assist Sr Graphic Art Director
• Also develop designs for social and print from time to time
