Digital & Content Strategist

Creative agency is looking for a Digital & Content Strategist to join our team and develop social and digital forward campaigns that fuel client success. Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth research and analysis on assigned topics that include audience profiles, sentiment, purchasing and behavioral habits, industry and competitor trends
  • Form actionable insights and strategies
  • Strong understanding of target audience needs and content behaviors
  • Develop strategic frameworks, campaigns and content to build brand awareness for clients
  • Have a strong understanding of organic and paid social, SEO driven and editorial content
  • Create content strategies, messaging frameworks and content calendars around a comprehensive narrative
  • Work with creative team on the ideation and production of videos, blogs, presentations and social content
  • Shape and copyedit stories that the copy team writes, and write some short-form content assets
  • Analyze information critically and provide digestible conclusions and insights
  • Structure research findings logically and engagingly, incorporating storytelling elements and character analysis for captivating content
  • Coordinate flow of assignments, assets, and approvals before client delivery and execution
  • Measure impact of content and marketing campaigns by collecting and analyzing data
  • Keep up to date in trends and best practices across key social platforms (Meta, Google and TikTok)
  • Work with team to provide playbooks and community guidelines as needed


You're a great fit if you have

  • Experience using platforms such as Resonate, GWI, Mintel, Baymard and Kantar for research
  • Experience using social management platforms (Emplifi, Sprinklr and/or Dash Hudson) is a must
  • Must have familiarity with SEO keywords and trends
  • 4-6 years in a content strategy role, preferably at a large brand or agency
  • Understanding of messaging, campaign development, paid/owned distribution, and marketing analytics
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Effective time management in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to envision and maintain extremely high standards, even under deadlines
