SEEDWAY, LLC is a full-line seed company providing high quality, high-performing farm seed products as well as lawn and turf products throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New England states, Florida, and South Carolina. We offer a leading line of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada.

SALARY RANGE

$65,000 – 70,000

Purpose And Summary Statement

Develops, implements, and oversees long-term digital and print marketing campaigns and short-term advertising techniques through digital and print platforms. This role requires enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to the company's website and social media channels, and generating sales leads.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Supervises, leads, and develops marketing interns in the marketing department, including the creation/development of special projects.

Essential Job Functions

Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising

Maintains SEEDWAY social media presence across all digital channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)

Organizes and develops email blast communications for SEEDWAY business units in collaborations with business managers and sales representatives.

Design, build, and maintain our social media and website presence

Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

Preparing accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.

Identifying the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.

Working with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.

Overseeing and managing all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.

Supports development and production of Seedway catalogs, product brochures, print advertising, direct mail and other communication materials to enhance the image of the respective business units, promote product lines and support sales efforts.

Develops literature needs for farm, turf, and vegetable seed business units.

Supports print advertising development and placement for farm, turf, and vegetable seed business units.

Other Job Functions

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Normally requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Management, or other ag-related area or the equivalent thereof. A minimum of 2 years experience in the digital marketing or advertising position.

A fundamental understanding of agricultural production and business is preferred.

Requires proficiency in software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe In Design, Adobe PhotoShop, and Quark preferred.

In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.

A solid understanding of WordPress, WooCommerce, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.

Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

May be required to work hours beyond those considered “normal”.

Must be willing to travel independently and overnight.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
