Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY: Aerospace Experience: STRONGLY REQUIRED The use of micrometers (ID, C) manual and digital, calipers manual and digital (Vernier), pin gauges, slot gauges, Go-No-go gauges, MMS (Magnetic Measuring System), CMM (coordinate measuring machine). The basic purpose or function of this position is to Inspect, test, or verify raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. Inspects and ensures that all parts conform to design data and any internal, customer, or regulatory requirements. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to work to detailed process and set-up instructions, work from blueprints, specifications, etc. Continuous mental or visual attention performing operations requiring close attention and accuracy. 20/20 vision or corrected to the equivalent of required Responsibilities: PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Aerospace Expereince: STRONGLY PREFERRED Perform incoming, in process and final inspections Review documentation for accuracy and completeness Be able to follow specific work instructions as described by the applicable process traveler Be able to use precision measuring instruments Minor computer skills is required Must be self motivated and able to work in a team environment Must have good attention to detail Must have the drive to competently see tasks are completed properly and are documented accurately
