About The Role
As a DevOps/SRE Engineer at Rogo, you will be the driving force behind optimizing our development team's efficiency. Your role involves automating operational workflows, setting up robust environments, managing outages, scaling our infrastructure, and configuring observability. Your expertise will ensure our team operates smoothly and our systems are highly reliable, supporting the groundbreaking work we do in AI and financial services.
Qualifications
Requirements
3+ years of proven experience in a DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineering role
Experience writing CI/CD scripts for GitHub Actions or other similar platform
Experience programming in Python, preferably with some application development experience
Experience managing cloud-based application environments, preferably AWS or Azure
Experience monitoring mission-critical production applications and incidence/outage response
Experience with Docker containerization
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
Passion for shipping quality software, and effective development practices
Bonus
Experience with a strongly typed language (e.g., Rust)
Experience in a startup or fast-growing tech environment.
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts
Experience with DataDog
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Background in managing infrastructure for AI or machine learning-based applications.
Interest in financial services and understanding of related data processing challenges.
