Designer Sales Specialist

Dovetail is seeking an experienced Designer/Salesperson to join our growing team in Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities:

·       Sales of kitchen & bath materials, primarily cabinetry & countertops.

·       Cabinetry design using 2020

·       Pipeline and contact management

·       Work with clients from design and planning through completion 

·       Greet and assist walk-in clients

·       Assist with showroom events as needed (1x/quarter max)

·       Open and close showroom as scheduled

·       Travel required to service clients as needed

Requirements:

·       Minimum 1 year kitchen and bath design

·       Proficient with 20/20 Design. Knowledge will be tested. Portfolio is required.

·       Construction industry experience and knowledge of construction schedules preferred

·       Experience managing a design project schedule with up to 30 projects at one time

·       Must be extremely proficient with MS Excel and other MS Office Suite programs.  

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Ability to pitch and sell products/services to continue building strong client base

·       Meet quarterly and yearly sales goals  

·       Ability to develop and complete tasks without continued direct supervision

·       Proven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients

·       Strong Organizational skills

·       Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines

·       Ability to interact with management, external client organizations and trade partners in a professional manner, putting value on relationships and Dovetail brand image

Classification: Full-time

Benefits & Compensation: Base Salary + Commission, anticipated pay package ranging from $60,000 to $102,000, depending performance. You tell us what you’d like to earn and we’ll supply the path to get there.
