Design Engineer - Pattern Maker

Job Description

Position Overview:

We're seeking a creative and passionate designer/pattern maker to join our team. You'll work closely with our Product Engineer, supporting daily operations and new design projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Grasp project objectives and needs.
• Craft prototypes, drafts, and innovative design solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to bring designs to life and ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Incorporate user feedback to enhance designs.
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements.
• Contribute throughout the design lifecycle, from concept to completion.
• Tackle special design tasks like color correction across various projects.
• Demonstrate exceptional technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Accumark software experience is a must, the ideal candidate has a level 2 (Advanced) training and fundamental experience for creating pattern designs, grading, software application awareness, Etc.
• 3+ years of design project experience.
• Collaboration experience with sewing machine operators in a live production setting.
• Portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in visual and interaction design principles.
• Solid pattern-making expertise.
• Knowledge of various textiles, including lightweight, stretch, nylon, cordura, and aramid fibers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and possess a collaborative spirit.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
