Design Director - Girl's Apparel

Our client, a kid's apparel brand, is seeking a Design Director to manage their Infant & Toddler girl's teams!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all related job responsibilities for the design team
• Manage and oversee a large team of Designers, Associate Designers, Assistant Designers, and Graphic Artists
• Ensure brand identity remains consistent
• Deliver design and trend direction for all categories including: woven, knits, sweaters, tops, skirts, dresses, bottoms and coats
• Maintain a supportive and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• 8-10+years of experience in Design, with a background in girl's apparel
• Strong organizational skills, leadership skills, and ability to multitask
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
• Must be comfortable working on site in NYC 4 days a week
