Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a Hygienist to join our growing team. New graduates are welcome to apply! The office is fast-paced with a patient-oriented team. The hygienist will have their own assistant. Applicants must be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, have compassion and empathy, display a friendly energetic attitude, and work as a team player. Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities: Gathering patient information and health background Taking x-rays when necessary Preparing the work area for procedures Performing a variety of hygiene procedures including, but not limited to prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride varnish, placement of localized antimicrobial agents, delivery of local anesthesia etc. Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits Updating patient charts Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment Benefits: PTO and Sick time (full time team members) Holiday Pay Short Term Disability Vision Dental and Medical Voluntary benefits (life ins, accident ins) Paid Continuing Education Credits Scrubs Allowance Requirements Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications MA Registered Dental Hygiene License (required) MA local anesthesia license (required) CPR certification (required) Understanding of hygiene procedures Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques Excellent communication skills Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole) preferred, not required Experience: Hygiene: We hire new grads!
