This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Assistant or Expanded Function Dental Assistant at DentaLux LLC in Philadelphia, PA. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting dentists during dental procedures, preparing patients for treatment, sterilizing instruments, taking dental x-rays, and providing chairside assistance. You will also perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities:
Preparing patients for dental work.
Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
Providing great patient care.
Recording treatment information in patient records
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
