Getro is looking for a Demand Generation Lead to spearhead our marketing efforts as a one-person department. This role demands a jack-of-all-trades mindset to develop and implement demand generation strategies that drive pipeline growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with ambiguity autonomously to achieve goals and who has a passion for strong content.

  • GetroJobs, which automatically aggregates jobs across a network of companies;
  • GetroConnect, which allows talent (active and passive job seekers) and companies to connect with one another, facilitating introductions and referrals within networks.

You, As An Expert

Have 5+ years of experience in demand generation, content marketing, and/or related roles in a B2B environment with average contract sizes
  • Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline growth and revenue generation through effective demand generation strategies.
  • Are an excellent communicator (verbal and written) - communicating clearly to prospects, customers, partners and unqualified traffic is key to success in this role. As a remote team, most of our internal communication is written.
  • Strong content creation and marketing skills, with a proven track record of producing engaging and impactful materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand generation best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven mindset for tracking and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Results-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement and achieving ambitious business goals.
  • Sharp interviewing and information gathering skills with experience creating content from cross-functional, internal stakeholders to share across campaigns.
  • Have experience working closely with product teams to represent the voice of the customer and facilitate discovery work .

    A Week in the Life of A Demand Generation Lead:

    • Analyze the previous week's marketing performance metrics to identify trends and areas for optimization. Start planning a targeted campaign to improve engagement with our job board features using Command Bar.
    • Schedule social postings to promote a blog post you wrote highlighting the benefits of network-based job discovery for both companies and professionals.
    • Test a new email marketing strategy to increase open and click through rates by segmenting our audience into segments with more personalized language in each
    • Coordinate with the product team to gather insights on upcoming feature launches, decide what to add to next week's content calendar.
    • Host a webinar on the importance of professional networks in career development, leveraging Getro's platform capabilities to demonstrate real-world applications and benefits.
    • Ask Engineering to install the Google Ads Tracking Pixel you made to begin to building our retargeting audience, set up a conversion in Google Ads to track the Cost Per Lead and Cost Per Customer
    • Take a no meeting day to focus on content creation, including writing a case study from an interview you’d done with a customer last week
    • Review and optimize the marketing automation workflows in Hubspot to ensure efficient lead nurturing and conversion rates.
    • Identify and reach out to potential partners for co-marketing opportunities, aiming to expand reach and drive mutual value.
    • Participate in a cross-functional meeting with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on upcoming initiatives and feedback loop integration.
    • Monitor and engage with our community on social media platforms, responding to queries and fostering a positive brand image.
    • Keep an eye out for industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our demand generation strategies remain ahead of the curve.

    • Salary: $100,000-$130,000
    • Why the range? We decide salaries based on your years of experience and the cost of living where you're based, we will consider pairing more junior profiles with a coach for ongoing development and guidance
    • $200 / month cash coworking stipend
