The primary responsibility of this position is providing safe, timely delivery and professional interaction with Contract Services clients. The Delivery Driver (non- CDL ) is responsible for timely transportation of products from campus to destinations as assigned, along with unloading and staging of products at client locations.

Safe, timely delivery of insulated warmers and carriers containing food products to contract clients throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area utilizing a delivery vehicle and lift. Retrieve insulated warmers and carriers from contract sites. Unload and empty food pans from warmers and carriers. (65%)
Assist in verification of products for accuracy. (5%)
Maintain professional representation of the College in all interactions with clients and through responsible driving practices.
Abide by all College safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
Assist with cleaning warmers and carriers and preparing them for next delivery. (5%)
Inform supervisor of maintenance and repair needs for equipment, including vehicle maintenance and repair. (5%)
General organization and cleaning of loading dock areas. (5%)
Assist with will-call pickups at local vendors, as needed. (10%)
Other delivery duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent GED ;
Take ServSafe course and pass ServSafe Foodhandler exam within one year of employment;
Valid driver’s license and Insurable driving record. Department of Transportation medical card.
General computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
General maintenance skills (diagnosing problems; using tools, greasing equipment, replacing wheels on carts);
Basic range of standard delivery skills (reading, counting, organizing, lifting, pushing, pulling, safely driving one-ton delivery/box trucks and vans, operating a lift);
Communication skills to give directions to student employees and work with other staff to ensure that proper procedures are being followed;
Ability to engage our customers with an attitude of willingness and dedication to serve;
Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
