The DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) and School Culture Coordinator will be responsible for advancing and sustaining a positive and inclusive school culture within the Berkshire Hills Regional School District. This position will focus on fostering a sense of belonging, promoting diversity and equity, and enhancing the overall cultural competence of students, staff and the wider school community.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in education, psychology, social justice, cultural studies and/or other similar field or related professional experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of DEIB policies, principles, cultural competence and equity in an educational context.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, staff, families and community partners.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, staff, families and community partners
Familiarity with current research, best practices and emerging trends in DEIB and school culture.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering professional development sessions or workshops on DEIB topics.
Project management and grant writing experience preferred.
Other qualifications as established by the District.
