Job Summary

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic direction, fostering a supportive learning environment, and promoting the overall success of adult leaders at Aegis University. This position requires a blend of administrative expertise, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to educational excellence. The main focus of the Dean will be developing and improving the skills, knowledge, and abilities of employees to align with the needs of the organization. The Dean of Aegis University will lead the Learning & Development function within the Human Resources department.


Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Training Programs:

  • Map out annual training plans for all departments.
  • Design, coordinate and deliver training programs for adult learning principles for new and existing employees (both outsourced & in-house).
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and experts regarding instructional design.

Training Materials and Evaluation:

  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessments.
  • Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and videos.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and measure the impact of training on employee skills and develop appropriate performance indicators (KPIs).

Compliance and Coaching:

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to training.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on training activities and outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and managers.

Event Planning:

  • Venue selection for all off-site learning events including the annual keystone Leadership Conference event.
  • Budget management:
  • Managing customer finances and creating event budgets.
  • Tracking overall expenses and staying within budget.
  • High attention to details while planning events to ensure success.

HR team membership:

  • Support the whole HR function with a utility player mentality and embrace opportunities to contribute to various HR functions outside of Aegis University, including staffing, employee relations, benefits, performance management and HR strategic design.
  • Committed to staying updated with industry trends, best practices in Learning & Development and evolving technologies in the field.
  • Collaborate with other HR professionals to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 3 years in Learning and Development or Adult Education
  • A minimum of 3 years working with a learning management system (LMS)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, allocate resources effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience supporting HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to travel as required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in human resource management, business, education or industrial and organizational psychology
  • Professional certifications related to HR, L&D, or instructional design
