Overview:

Forsyth Barnes is partnered with a Giant in the convenience store and Gas station space, they are expanding their Engineering team – As the Lead Data Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions aimed at empowering our clients organization to derive actionable insights from intricate datasets. You will take the lead in guiding a team of data engineers, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, and spearheading initiatives geared towards fortifying our data infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and analytics capabilities.

Requirements:

• Be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week onsite at Charlotte, NC
• Extensive hands-on experience in coding , data modelling, and data pipelines
• Extensive experience in Azure
• Extensive experience in Python & SQL
• Extensive Experience in DataBricks or snowflake
• Proven track record of coaching and mentoring junior data engineers
• Strong retail background
