Job Summary:

The Data Scientist plays a critical role in leveraging data to drive insights and inform decision-making across the agency. They utilize their expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to uncover trends, optimize campaigns, and deliver measurable results for clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., campaign performance data, audience demographics, market trends) to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to predict campaign outcomes, optimize media spend allocation, and personalize user experiences.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Experimentation and A/B Testing: Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses, evaluate the effectiveness of different media strategies, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with media planners, buyers, and strategists to integrate data-driven insights into campaign planning and execution.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and identify opportunities to apply new technologies to enhance agency capabilities.
  • Client Communication: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to clients, explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably in a marketing or advertising context.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R, and relevant data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Experience with SQL or other query languages for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a passion for problem-solving, and a drive to continuously learn and improve.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in media or advertising industry.
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms and marketing analytics tools.
  • Expertise in deep learning or other advanced machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with natural language processing or computer vision.
