Data Scientist

Overview:

The Data Scientists will play a critical role in uncovering valuable intelligence from vast datasets to support investigative decision-making and deliver high-quality investigative products. The focus will be on applying data mining techniques, conducting statistical analysis, building high-quality prediction systems, and integrating these capabilities into our products.

Key Duties:

• Identify business trends and problems through complex big data analysis.
• Interpret results from multiple sources using various techniques, from simple data aggregation and statistical analysis to complex data mining.
• Design, develop, and implement valuable business solutions for the organization.
• Prepare big data, implement data models, and develop databases to support business solutions.

Qualifications:

• Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in Data Analysis/Data Mining, including Cloud resource hosting solutions for APOLLO, HYDRA, and ORION.
• Proven ability to work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a program, performing all functional duties independently.
• Experience overseeing direct reporting resources and/or managing the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
• Ability to complete and deliver assigned tasks efficiently.

Education Requirements:

• A degree from an accredited college/university in a related field is preferred. An additional four years of relevant experience may substitute for a college degree. If the degree is not in the applicable field, four additional years of related experience are required.
