The Data Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that data users have the best possible data to use in shaping policies. The Data Quality Analyst is a member of the Data Management Team, reporting to the Director, Data and Quality. The primary functions of this role include:
Develop and implement data quality control and processes
Identify data inconsistencies, errors, and outliers using business rules, statistical modeling, and AI/ML
Create and monitor data quality metrics and report metrics to stakeholders
Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and business units to identify and address data quality issues
Design, document, and implement data preprocessing, normalization, and data cleaning processes
Required/Desired Skills
5 years experience in SQL (BigQuery preferred)
2 year experience in R / Python (only one required)
5 years experience in Technical Documentation
2 years in Requirements Gathering
2 years experience in Google Cloud Functions, Triggers, and Scheduling
2 years in Terraform (Highly desired)
