Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Quality and Data Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data quality, data testing, and data management, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Support data quality and testing initiatives and projects in a complex data environment, ensuring high standards of data integrity and reliability.
Develop and implement data quality frameworks, including the establishment of data quality metrics, standards, and processes.
Conduct thorough data profiling and analysis to identify and address data quality issues.
Utilize advanced SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) is highly desirable, as it will be a key component in our data management and integration processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality standards are met.
Provide technical guidance and support for data quality improvement and data testing strategies.
Proactively identify opportunities for data quality enhancements and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Document Data Quality Policies and Standards in the Enterprise Data Catalog
Identify data needed for Test Case coverage and where necessary, generate and maintain Test Data Sets
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data quality or data testing role, preferably in a complex data environment.
Strong understanding of data quality concepts, automation, data governance, and data management practices.
Proficiency in SQL and experience in data profiling and data analysis in SQL Server.
Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Experience with Alation Data Catalog.
Experience with Snowflake.
