About the Role
We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join our growing team. You'll join a fast-moving, cross-functional team, designing and developing elegant cloud-based solutions for complex problems. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working with data from practice management systems. In addition, you will work closely with our partners to ensure the smooth implementation of their new software systems.
This is a full-time position out of our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. If remote, you can expect to visit the office for new hire orientation and typically for team meetings once a quarter.
What You'll Do:
Conduct and document research on data solutions aligned with project and organizational goals.
Collaborate with developers to alter, format and transform data.
Create SQL queries to alter and format data.
Perform data mapping for practice management software standardization of data transformation.
Create and run SQL queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
Perform data discovery and root cause analysis.
Ensure that datasets are accurate, reliable, and usable through data quality checks.
Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from feature design to deployment.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and experience with SQL and PostgreSQL querying.
Experience with ETL concepts like database conversion, data migration, and data mapping.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work as self-motivated independent contributor, as well as the agility to work effectively with a team.
Bonus Points:
Experience in Veterinary, Dental, or Healthcare practice management systems
Basic programming knowledge: we work in a .NET framework using C# and in Databricks using Python.
Familiar with GPT and prompt engineering.
Experience in Azure Dev Ops building and releasing pipelines.
Experience working with cloud-based services.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
