LOCATION: Hybrid in New York City, or Remote in the East Coast US
SALARY: $100,000 USD - $125,000 USD base salary, plus bonus (based on NYC area, adjusted for geographic location)
The Role:
As a member of our Canoe Data Operations Team, the Data Operations Manager will focus on driving subject matter expertise to the execution of new products. You will apply your expertise in private market data points to build, define, and execute product and service, while managing delivery through our onshore and offshore teams to provide accurate, timely data with broad coverage. You will also work closely with product managers to define future product roadmap. This is an exciting opportunity to work on core functionality and manage scope of offering, service delivery, and ongoing product improvements.
What You’ll Do:
Own Quality: Take charge of ensuring the highest standard of output for a data operations team specializing in the review and structured data output from private market documents
Advocate for Standards: Champion of best practices, perform quality checks and drive the standard of practice to ensure a culture of excellence and consistency
Derive Insights: Performs analysis on data trends to identify root causes of problems and enable effective resolutions
Continuous Improvement: Identifies technology and process improvements to efficiently and effectively process data
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in managing service delivery
Prior people management experience
SQL, Excel, and data visualization skills
Proven experience working on complex projects within a fast-paced software development environment
Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and exceptional organizational skills
Deadline-oriented and a proven ability to self-manage in a remote / hybrid work setting
Ability to balance collaboration with the team and focus on individual work
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Prior experience refining operating processes and planning product development
Comfortable with ambiguity and uncovering answers to complex product development questions
