Join our dynamic team as a Data Entry Clerk! In this remote role, you'll be responsible for efficiently uploading service requests into our hotel database, ensuring timely and accessible care and services for our members. You will work closely with various teams and report directly to the Lead Coordinator under the guidance of the manager, adhering to our policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize office equipment such as computer terminals, copiers, calculators, fax machines, multi-extension telephones, paging systems, and document scanners.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Microsoft SAP is a plus.
Collaborate effectively as a team player with strong customer service skills.
Maintain self-motivation and a positive energy.
Exhibit good interpersonal and leadership skills with a willing, positive attitude.
Contribute continuously to the improvement of processes and daily job functions.
Assist other departments as needed, with varying assignments.
Occasionally engage in prolonged standing or walking.
Perform tasks requiring reaching, stooping, bending, or crouching.
Demonstrate manual dexterity and mobility.
Focus on the task at hand, especially during busy seasons.
Minimum Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1 year of experience in data entry.
Ability to type 45 words per minute (WPM).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
