50% data modeling, 50% hands on SQL development
Need great communication skills. Needs to be a senior-level person.
This person will work hand-in-hand with the person that oversees the over-arching architecture.
This is not an Architect-level role, this is a data modeler role / data analyst role that can also be very hands-on with SQL development.
Data Modeling is the main skill they're looking for now.
It's heavy on the relational database SQL server skills - running stored procedures and SSIS packages but executing them through Azure Data Factory. This piece is going to be very important.
The data side doesn't interact much with the visualization.
They're writing stored procedures in SQL Server and use ADF to put them into a pipeline. They're starting the stored procedures with a pipeline.
You will work with two data engineers and a project manager and a few other contractors as well.
Nice-to-Have
Snowflake experience will be very helpful.
Real Estate experience or Yardi experience will be helpful.
